Terms & Condition

  • Purchases of artworks and services are governed by the relevant terms and conditions as indicated below. For any relevant enquiries not available in the terms and conditions, please contact our sales representative who will assist you in clearing out any ambiguity.
  • The payment for the artwork or services including applicable taxes shall be made in full before physical delivery of Products or services. The buyer shall bear all the taxes levied.
  • Art Konsult reserves the right to hold the shipping of artworks till the date of actual receipt of payment.
    Unless agreed to a discount/sale Art Konsult’s pricing policy allocates a fixed price applicable to all the artworks and services.
  • Post delivery risk and damages shall pass on to the buyer. Art Konsult shall not be responsible for a damages caused to the painting after the delivery of the artwork.
  • Art Konsult shall deliver the artwork to the place of delivery designated by the buyer and agreed to by Art Konsult (“Place of Delivery”).
  • Art Konsult may, at its discretion, deliver the artworks by instalments in any sequence if required.
  • Any dates quoted by Art Konsult for the delivery of the artworks are approximate only and shall not be considered as just. Art Konsult shall not be liable for any delay in delivery and/or services, howsoever caused.
  • Art Konsult may revise and/or discontinue artworks at any time without prior notice as part of Art Konsult’s policy of on-going stock up-date and revision.
  • There may be occasions when Art Konsult confirms orders but learns that it cannot supply the ordered artworks which otherwise become unavailable to Art Konsult or when there is a pricing error etc. In such circumstances, Art Konsult will contact the buyer to inform them about alternative options. However, if the buyer does not go ahead with the available options, Art Konsult may cancel the order for artworks that it cannot supply and shall refund the payment for those artworks.
  • Unless the buyer notifies Art Konsult to the contrary on the day of delivery and such notification is confirmed in writing within two days, the artworks shall be deemed to have been accepted by the buyer as being in good condition and in accordance with the terms and conditions.
  • Art Konsult holds the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time.
  • All prices are given in Indian Rupees. The exchange rate for foreign currency will be as applicable on the date of the Sale.

    Export
  • If an artwork is required to be exported out of country all the expenses of the shipment shall be borne by the buyer. The buyer also has to secure relevant documents and approval as per their country’s law.
  • Artworks which are National Art Treasure shall not be exported out of India.
